Anyone who heard what Hanoi Kerry had to say , KNOWS he insulted our troops in Iraq . Kerry just can't help himself-but his pompous ego makes him think it's ok to be a traitor .

Kerry is a VETERAN! He would never insult the troops. He was in the frickin' military! He served in 'Nam and, I know it's hard to believe, he didn't think the U.S. was doing a good job there. Shocker! Someone thought the "war" in Vietnam was run poorly? Kerry has been vilified for being a war hero and then speaking his mind. You should be ashamed for disrespecting the man.
To answer your question, he meant to say that "...you will get -US- stuck in Iraq". It was a joke at the President's expense, not the troops. He left out a word or two and that gave people the freedom to misinterpret what he said. If read it in context, right after a few other Bush jokes, it would sound like it refers to the President. But if you take it by itself, a frequent trick of the Hannity crowd, it can be twisted.

Kerry made a botched joke. He was attempting to make fun of the president by saying that if your weren't educated you would invade Iraq (check his speech online, its all right there) He messed up a joke, and yet the Republican media is turning it into something that it's not. Bush has botched a war, and yet people still loyally support him. Kerry never said he hated the troops, he only wanted to say he didn't like the president. Get it right people.

Is that a question or a statement? In the first place you have to be smart to get into the Military. I do not think you can get in with only a GED, Anyway what Kerry meant to say was that he despises the military and the boys in it. Kerry was confusing the Vietnam days when you could get a college deferment to stay out of the military. He spoke out against the military and especially our boys then as well as now. I was there so I know. If you want to speak out that is your right, but God-Damn it don't speak out against our brave boys and girls. They are fighting for us.

Don't think so......if you really want to go to college there are grants and student loans. As for the military, that is an individuals choice if they want to join. As for being sodomized by Arabs....get real and wise up.

Umm.. I hope that's not what he meant. Kerry was trying to make a point about Pres. Bush, but in doing so slipped up by sharing what he really believes about the troops being uneducated. This is how he obviously feels about the troops and that's disturbing.

No, he said what he meant. He was never in favor of a volunteer or professional army and I think he knows the kind of trash that populates the army. Mostly they are either black or latino and many of them join the army to gain American citizenship, just like in Roman times, men joined the army to gain Roman citizenship.

He said exactly what he meant. He has only ever had nothing but contempt for the US military.
