Shakira Shakira!
Shakira is incredibly talented. She is NOT phony or "manufactured" - she made HERSELF. She has been writing all of her own songs since she was 8 years old, and recording albums for Sony since she was 13. She has always been able to maintain an incredible amount of creative control over her work - everything from writing the music to video direction and post-production. This would have been unheard of for a young Latina female in the beginning of her career, but she did it. After her first two albums, which were only released in Colombia, EVERY album she has made has been multi-Platinum and award winning. She won 5 Latin Grammys this week, by the way. At her concerts, she gives a hell of a show WITHOUT backup dancers (very rare for female pop stars these days.) You can barely hear her because everyone in the audience is cheering and singing along non-stop. Clearly she has earned her fame. She is also a humanitarian - a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF and she started her own charity foundation in Colombia which builds schools for children displaced by violence.

The only thing I like about Beyonce is her toned body. Mariah has gotten too old. Shakira is Ok I guess. I like Shakira better.

Shakira. While both Beyonce and Shakira write and produce their songs, I much prefer Shakira's. Beyonce has the ability to write good upbeat club songs and the run of the mill love songs, but that's about it. Shakira's song lyrics have depth, not to mention she writes them in two languages and plays her own guitar on many of them. Beyonce is a great, talented R&B diva, but she's easily comparable to other artists before her. Shakira is unique.

i like Mariah Carey because Shakira sounded bad at the when i saw the concert that i went to and beyonce is just OK she is not my favorite.

i like shakira the most b/c her voice is different. and she is gourgeous! mariah carey has the best singing voice and range of the the three, but sometimes she is a little cheesy. beyonce is a good entertainer also...the complete package in terms of singing, dancing and acting.

I have to say Shakira because she is just totally different from the rest of them. I mean she can sing in 2 languages she is an amazing dancer and i think she is representing for the Latin community which is great

Christina Aguilera is ten instances greater than Mariah Carey. Her voice is way more potent! (individually) But, I additionally love Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Alicia Keys! All Great Female Singers!!

I don't know who's better, but I love Shakira. It's strange to think that she used to sing completely in Spanish, and now she's practically only singing in English. You should listen to the difference. I love her low voice, it's beautiful.
