OK, according to my book, Gare is partially correct. It is a 1989 engine. the E9 in the first grouping of digits confirms this. The A (third position) indicates that it is a "Ford" car line. I don't think it is out of a Galaxie, because as far as I know Ford stoped making the Galaxie in the '70s.
A - Ford
D - Falcon
G - Comet, Montego, Cyclone
J - Marine & Industrial
K - Edsel
M - Mercury
O - Fairlane, Torino
S - Thunderbird
T - Truck
V - Lincoln
W - Cougar
Z - Mustang
The fourth digit (E) indicates that it is an engine (how creative, huh?) and that it is an "engineering group" part number. The 6015 is the basic part number. The AA indicates that there have been 26 engineering changes to the part ("A" means the origional design, and then when they get to "Z" they start over with "AA"). Unfortunately, my book doesn't have any info on what the 13 means, but I hope the info I was able to decode helps.

I don't really know about all the codes but I would say it is out of a 1960 vehicle by the #60 in the number.
