Does this not show that women really like to be subjugated to men?

As is well known, in Islam women are treated far inferior to men and kept to serve them and pleasure them.
And yet those same women resist most intensely any attempts, of the civilised societies to liberate them.

I wonder what the reason for this is. Perhaps some women will tell us.

THEY COULD NOT CHANGE THEM WITH THE PASSING OF TIME. BUT NOW THERE IS NEED FOR CHANGE AND WOMEN SHOULD BE GIVEN EQUAL RIGHT IN ALL THE RELIGIONS.

If you were reared in a culture that demanded this of you, and all people who were like you, you would come to believe deeply that this was the way of things. If it pained you, that pain would simply be part of existance. Chances are that some women speak of the pain and comfort each other all the time but acknowledge it as part of life, and would be afraid to try something else.

Islam came to India by force, Islamic invaders came here alone with swords, they looted money and women also, since women were never Muslim before and hence they treated them as pleasure thing. they never had emotional attachment with women here, they just had to increase BASTARDS for their army.

same mentality is still prevailing today, Islamic women want only food and shelter and clothes. they never go beyond this . It dosen't matter what their husband, brother or son is doing, if it is wrong or right, they are happy what ever they are.

Happiness is having different definition for Muslim women. for you it may freedom or education or decision making is happiness but for Muslim women, roti, kapra aur makan is only happiness nothing else.

those women don't know any other way of life. to change that would be a violation to their lifestyle and very way of being. to assume that because of that that women like to be subjugated to men is a fallacy. i say it over and over on yahoo answers, but again, you CANNOT judge a large group of people (i.e. 51% of the global population) by the actions of a few.

first i am a muslim women, we live for God not for men, we live as God tells us in the Quran how it is right to live, and in the holy book it says a good woman please her husband as well as God. We know our place in society and live as we see God wishes us to live in peace and happiness in our souls.in reality, women are not equal to men, i know many will disagree, America portrays men and women very equal, but in the arab world, this takes away from our feminity and would make women look manly and less attractive to men if we were the same, but the most common misconception of muslim women from foreigners is that they think we r oppressed, this is wrong idea, we are free in our souls and we live for God not because we cover so much for men not to see us, but as we want God to see us in our holyness and we r free in our hearts and sould, i dont need the same rights as men to feel free. I am a muslim and live for God. and just so u know judism, christianity and islam all believe in monotheism one and the same God we worship just in language translation God has a different name. i hope this information answers your question i just want to promote better understanding of Islam.

society resticts them to think that their is a way out. its the only way they know, this issue proves nothing because these women don't really have a choice. Your talking about a particular group, when you should be talking about women as a whole.
