Because you have a pessimistic view. Outside of that, you don't have a positive role model to encourage and motivate you to succeed.

1. You don't believe you deserve to succeed.

2. At an unconscious/subconscious level to secretly gain revenge on a significant other. Eg: 'They did this to me so I will punish them by being a failure'.

3. Do we really fail....or is it that we just haven't succeeded yet?

4. We believe that life is hard and success is difficult to obtain because that is what we have been told. Therefore we believe it is cheating to succeed easily and in a short time.

5. Because we don't want success (at whatever we are trying to succeed at) enough. For us to be successful, we need to feel passionate about what we are doing. We need to enjoy the journey too!

6. Do we ever (even for 10 seconds) visualise ourselves succeeding? If not, ask why? And try it. Say, three 10 second (or whatever time span you choose) time outs each day just to visualise an image of sucess. See it, feel it, be it!

MOST OF ALL BEGIN TO BELIEVE IN OURSELVES.

Good question why do you or is the answer do you relay. do you set goals that you know you cant achieve, do you try to claim things that are not ready to be claimed. Ask yourself 3 questions first. do you need it , do you want it , can you do it , if you cant answer 2 of the 3 with a positive yes then look for something else then you will see that you will not fail but that you will develop and succeed in the things that you failed in in the past.
Try it but be honest with yourself.that's the important part.

Its not all whatever you do is failer. Go get a note book right now and start to dot down everything you have not failed at. Also mark all the things you think you have failed at. Everytime you remember one of them write it in. Do this for aleast 7days. From the time you wake up until bedtime. At the end of the 7days you might find out something new about yourself.
Take care.

I bet you don't fail at everything, it is probably that you have low self esteem and BELIEVE that you fail at everything. Practise makes perfect and if you really want to succeed at something you CAN, you just need to put your mind to it.
There is a saying I heard once "reach for the moon and if you fall short you will always land on a star" - Don't look at everything as a failure - even if you only see a small positive.

Ever heard of self prophesy? Try the power of positive thinking, if you expect yourself to fail, trust me you will. Try visualising yourself succeeding and you will. There was two teams of basket ball players of which one team practised each night for a week, and the other team who simply visualised, and that team went on to win every game they played. Tell yourself you are a looser or a winner and you will become just that! Try it!!!! It works 99% of the time.

Failure is simply a state of mind.
Many of life's failures are people who did not realise how close they were to success when they gave up.

Unfortunately, some people are like that, no matter what they do or how hard they try, for some unknown reason things just won't go right for them, I sympathise with you as I have a friend with the same problem.

DONT LISTEN TO ARSEHOLES.

Nobody is perfect right away. If you make mistakes, try again and learn. Find something you like and take your time to develop the skills you need.
Don't expect too much too soon.

It's an old saying but worth repeating..... "The only real failure is not trying and failing but rather failing to try".....
