very true. Id try a little mascara. But ask someone how to put it on (I got some in my eye and it burned a lot) And you don't want to put too much otherwise it looks to much like spiderlegs w/ clumps and stuff.
Then you could use a clear lip gloss. Thats all, natural makeup will make you look more presentable and not overdone.

At your age, you shouldn't need much makeup. Talk to your Mom. A little lip gloss and maybe a little blush. Natural yet not overdone for regular days. My daughter is 12 going on 13 and we go around about this all the time. My main issue is that I want her on a good skin care program and using better products such as Physician's Choice as she starts to move in this direction. (Mineral based, natural makeup)
I have learned so much over the years and to do again, I would stay away from the heavy foundations etc. that I did as a young lady.
Be you!

thats sooo true, you dont wanna make yourself look like clown.... SO, i would use some concealer and foundation, but not one thats way too dark or one that makes you look range, and i'd have your mom or another girl to help you the first time to show you how to blend it in. Then, i would use mascara and eye liner and some lip gloss, that would look cute enough, i wouldnt go with the whole eye shadow thing cuz it makes some people look like a clown, but since this is your first time, i would have someone teach you how to put it on since you dont want it to look fake! Besides, the natural look is better! Good luck!

well, start with the ceap stuff so you can figure out what looks best on you. Girls your age NEVER look good with heavy makeup. Just a light dusting of powder ( use a brush not the pad that comes in the compact) to absorb oil on your skin, some mascara and lipgloss and you're good to go!
You could consider using a medicated concealer/corrector to mask blemishes and help them heal faster.
For special occasions try a sheer sparkly blush, shimmery eyeshadow and a bit of lipstick under your gloss.
You should NEVER, EVER EVER EVER share anything that touches your lips or eyes with a friend or use their eye/lip makeup. There are huge amounts of germs all over that and you could get a fungus in your eyes or coldsores that way. gross.

You can always ask your mom, aunt, your older sister/cousin, or if you have a female babysitter ask her, but make sure that they wear make up. The only make up I wear is eyeliner, and I started wearing it when I was like 12 and a half, considering that I'm thirteen that was about a year or less ago. Just start weaing a little bit of eyeliner, and mascara, also try some lip gloss.

Try for a very subtle look. Nothing too bright or drastic. Use neutral tones for the eyes, lips, and cheeks. Instead of lipstick try a subtle gloss. For eyes, avoid eyeliner and apply mascara lightly if at all.

Make sure you get the right color for your skin tone, and then use less than you think you should. That way you look good, but natural. And, definitly only put on one or two layers of mascara.
