The only person I can think of that fits that description is the lead singer of the group Bow Wow Wow, the original artist who did the song "I Want Candy". Her name is Annabelle something. I don't remember her last name and I am not sure this is who you are referring to. A lot of people fit that description back in the 80's, LOL. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help.
