The meaning of life is just to live!

The smartest theologians and philosophers have wondered about this very question since the beginning of civilization, but have yet to agree on one definitive purpose of living. Ironically, the answer they seek cannot be found in books. Had they been out in the world living and feeling and loving and experiencing they would have had their answer.

We did not come to this Earth with an instruction manuel, so we must make our own. Decide for yourself the meaning of your life. Choose a life that is fulfilling on your terms. Just make sure you are living and not merely existing.

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

The Meaning of Life is a rather grotty movie by Monty Python. Funny too. In places.

The meaning of life is to live life to its fullest all the time and to live every day like there is no tomorrow, to live like only the now/present exists. The meaning is to make the most of your life, because life is short and can be taken from you at any time. In short, the meaning of life is to live.

Life is but a walking shadow, a poor player that frets and stuts its hour upon the stage and then is heard no more.

To bring Love where Love seems not to be as we/God evolve into pure non-physical Love and pure physical Love in the same sphere. God is Love & that's all there is. All else is but an illusion.
