I like Hero Quest. It's kinda like dungeons and dragons only on a board, and doesn't take as many dice. You can be a wizard, barbarian, thief, or something else, I forget all of em. But it's a cool game, because it's never the same thing twice, especially if you make some of your own quests.

Then there's also Risk. It's a great game, you can conquer the world or lose your pants! It really gets intense when you start with 6 players and have two sitting each on a border waiting for the moment when one of them says... I'm attacking...

There is a board game I must confess
That is my favorite and it's called CHESS!
The game is often played in total silence
But the board itself is full of violence
It's full of adventure and often surprise
When pieces are captured but no one dies
It's got pawns, castles, and even knights
And the king sits back because it's the queen who fights
You'd be amazed at what the bishops do
As they move diagonally and fight for you
It's a wonderful game played by a famous lot
From the Duke, John Wayne to George C. Scott
The game I think adds spice to life
For the best games I've played were with my wife
So if you're 'board' with nothing to do
I think that chess is the game for you!

Pictionary - ths is a ver simple yet very intelligent game. there are 2 teams & each team gets to roll the dice. The gam board has A, P, O, AP, D mentioned where each alphabet denotes something. A - Action, P - Place, O - Object, AP - All Play, D - Direction. When the player is on A then the that player has to pick a card from the rack - read what is mentioned next to A & draw that to his teammates in one minute... its about drawing! its all fun!

By default, most people (with myself included) prefer Mononpoly. It consists of a ongoing flux in financial status and is a more defined competition amongst multiple players. There has been many augmented versions of this game, including Star Wars which the properties transitions into Star Wars planets!!!
