I sometimes find sex to be really painful, I am healthy and I check out ok, I think that my boyfriend and I just don't really mesh. Any suggestions on how to enjoy more and hurt less?

To clarify the type of pain, its defiantly a penetration problem. It feels to me like I am too small or he is too big, but I've heard that that isn't really biologically possible.

What part is painful? Is the penetration painful, if he has a large penius, than maybe you just need to use a lubricant. When is it painful, shortly before of after your perioid, then just avoid sex during this time. If you are having any kind of pain in your vagina than you should see your ob/gyn. Pain during intercourse can be a symptom of something else wrong. Of couse if he is a lot bigger than you, he could just be 'crushing' you, then maybe just find a different position.

Are you properly lubricated? That is likely the major issue and linked to the not meshing part. Sounds like your gut feeling is telling you to move on from your bf.
The vagina is an elastic organ capable of stretching to accomodate a newborn baby's head - surely it can accomodate a man's ***** if lubricated properly - which starts off with genuine love and care.
From Wikipedia:
"The human vagina is an elastic muscular tube projecting inside a female. It is usually slightly shorter and thinner than an average male penis, at about 4 inches (100 mm) long and 1 inch (25 mm) in diameter (although there is wide anatomical variation) but its elasticity causes it to be able to accept larger penises and give birth to offspring"

Is it a "you're small down there" pain, or a "dry as a bone" pain? Either way, longer foreplay might be a solution, or some sort of lubricant. You could also try different positions if the pain is higher (I know my uterus is tipped and there are some positions that hurt a bit more than others).
You might also be anxious about it thinking that you don't mesh if you had some earlier bad/painful experiences. Just relax! :-)

Try positions where you are more in control of the amount of penetration like you on top or him lying behind you on your side. Then if it starts to hurt you can move away a bit...tell him to ease up on the thrusting too...some of them are like a bull in a china shop.

Is your boyfriend too large for you? Most likely thats not the case, since men like to THINK they have more than they do LOL What will probably help you the most is extra lube, and lots of foreplay.

Sometimes sex hurts for me when my boyfriend comes at me from an odd angle. In that case, it rips something in the area, but it doesn't happen if I have enough "natural lubrication".
