first, i might wonder if the concept "people" involves homo sapiens, or will include (if any) possible evolutionary, genetic, or robotic transformations of the species.
at any rate, as long as the population increases, and the death technologies (nukes and such) become more available, and we slowly deplete all of our non-renewable resources (water, forests, oil, fishes, etc.), we are bound to run into incredible conflicts, and the more conflicts, and the more desperate we get, the greater and greater likelihood that some insane wars will break out, and eventually, we will have a state where civilization destroys itself, humanity exists in small local groups until new civilization forms, and this cycle will continue until we have truly depleted our resources, and cannot upkeep any renewable resources. Perhaps some sort of an agrarian low-impact small population can go on, but this would depend on the luck of plants that we can survive on, surviving future climate change and unforeseen catastrophes.
That being said, i would assume that humanity as we know it, would cease to exist at the longest say 100000 years. with the first catastrophic war and collapse of our civilization within a few hundred years.

Bless your heart. No one can answer that. If you believe in Christianity, you have an answer waiting for you. There are also other religions that are closely related to Christianity. Find something to believe in and quit focusing on such things as the last human being.
I hope we don't go extinct except by being sent to Heaven or being allowed to remain in the new earth.

The final person will go in agony and barbarity, suffering the ill effects of a nuclear winter, caused either by a planet killing asteroid or an accidental nuclear exchange between the superpowers caused by a computer foulup. No one knows the exact date, but this is my prediction of man's fate...
While it might be nice to think we'll see our dead relatives or live in a new earth in eternal bliss, without evidence or one ounce of proof, its just fanciful thinking. The idea of an afterlife helps to cushion humans from their utter death and annihilation....sorry.

The last person (people) will die when Jesus calls us home. The Eastern sky will open, He will step out onto a cloud, call us by our new name and we will ascend into Heaven to live with him for ever! Pretty cool, huh.

Do you think that human spiritual beings are the only entity that carries God's soul? Even, if there will be total world peace by the year 2075... with or without people... God's evolution will go on for sure.

Humanity will be wiped out by robots. Our only chance of survival is if we become robots. This will probably happen by the end of the century. We just can't compete with them. They're too smart, too strong, think too fast, they have perfect memories, they're immortal.

Time is something we don't understand at all. Life IS, was and always will be. Only our perceptions change. The only real answer I can give you then is never.

The last person will die of either old age or suicide. If they commit suicide it will be because they are lonely.
