I highly doubt that'll happen, but in Halo 1 he took off his helmet at the end of the game, but we couldn't see it there. And in Halo 2 we didn't get to see him at all take his helmet off (From what I remember. It's been a while since I've played Halo 2). But I'm just curious.

I doubt he will in Halo 3. I think they're saving that for the Halo movie.

In Halo 2, right at the beginning of the game, we almost saw his face again as he's handed his helmet.

I doubt they'll show it in Halo 3 though. Unless perhaps you find all the skulls, beat the game on legendary, spin around three times screaming "Mastercheif is my God!", and the planets all line up.. then there might be an alternate cutscene showing his face. That's very "bungie-like"..

I think we will. It seems unlikely that a masked charecter would remain masked throughout the whole series. Just like Samus. Everyone thought she was a he untill she took off her helmet. I think something unexpected will happen when Master Cheif takes off his (or her...? O_o) helmet.
