I can't get people to stop laughing about me in my art major. I am a college junior at a big university and last semester I signed up to be a nude model, and well, it was going good at first. But one day i was late to class, and the professor had a female replace me. As I was about to leave, the professor suggests I stay and have the students draw two figures.
Well, standing up there with her I became aroused and had to remain there for an hour with her. Whenever i modeled after that a few select girls from the same class would make gestures at me behind the teachers back to get me excited again. I stopped modeling but now everyone calls me the b**** boy, even people I dont know. It really bothers me.
why do people think its so funny, and continue to bust me about it? Shouldn't they take the class more seriously and see the body as art?

See the body as art? What , like you did?? hahahahahahahahahahah I used to be an art student (and nude model too) and we always had female nudes, but none of us got boners. It is kinda funny, I mean it was a life drawing class, and you're supposed to be motionless, right? And there's you,.....well part of you, modelling for the "animation" class. LOL
Forget it pal, it's nothing!! If that were me, I'd just laugh right back at them for being such prudes!! 90% of people wouldn't have the guts to do what me and you did, so be proud that you're not just an average run of the mill 9 to 5 shithead.

First of all, I am sorry that people are still laughing at you, that is very rude. Honestly there are a lot of cruel people who just get enjoyment out of other people's pain and embarassment. It sucks. I'm sure they are serious about art but they also seem like mean b****es. I'd like to say that they will stop eventually, and most likely they will, but it may be awhile. I doubt you want to transfer schools so unfortunately you might just have to try and ignore them. Did you ever see the movie "The New Guy"? it might help, at least make you laugh a little. Go with it. It's the only thing you can do.
If people tease you about it, simply say:
"Well, I was the one up there with this gorgeous girl, and not you." - to guys.
"Well, I'm not complaining about showing my good sex drive." - to girls.
Laugh about it, give them a slightly challenging look, and they'll end up being envious of you.
I admire you for being a nude model in the first place. Yes, the body is an art, I am an artist, so I know what you mean.
You're bigger (more mature) than them, because you still model.
I wouldn't mind meeting someone like you when I study art at university, that's for sure. ; )

Sorry pal, people always have and most likely always will laugh at the shortcomings of others. It's a fact of human nature. Don't let it bother you so bad. There are some old farts that can't even get it up. Natural bodily functions are funny because they aren't openly spoken of. i.e. farts, burps, erections, hiccups, peeing one's self, pooping your pants, etc.

That is really sad. I think people, especially by that age, should know better and be more mature, and this is coming from a girl in high school...I would've thought college students would've been a lot better, I guess not.

well, you already lost by letting them know it got to you... you need to start modeling again, and get boners when ever you can, be proud of the fact that you don't have ed or anything. People are immature idiots and it will haunt you if you let them know how much it bothers you.

As soon as someone else has an unfortunate situation happen they will bother them and leave you alone . As long as you are bothered
by it and show that you are they will keep it up
though { no pun intended } sorry .
Act as if you are board with
the whole thing .

well, different people has different thinking
like in america, it is normal to wear spagehtti top but here in asia, i wear it, people think i am too exposed of my body. i think it is kinda weird. even some people think i am prostitude.
So just ignored them cuz in the end, u live ur own life but not them.
