I live in Idaho and have four children that all have had piercings at one time or another. The last one was 10 months ago! They are very strict in this state and you can not have a piercing without a parent or guardians permission and attendance. You will not find any place that will do it for you until you are 18. There are some kids that have had their friends do it but might a make a suggestion? DON"T DO IT! If you do it incorrectly or use items that are not sanitary you can get a rather nasty infection or worse. I don't care what your friend says and how many times she or he say they have done it, it just isn't safe. Talk to your Mom or Dad or Guardian and tell them how much this means to you. Show them that you are responsible enough to take care of the piercing if they are worried about it and that you will begin with something small. IF they argue or get mad let it stand, and attempt to do it again later. I was a bit leery about it in the beginning but I eventually found there really is no harm. And, more often than not the piercing disappears with age.

Good luck little one!
