Registered Nurse Here; I'm not Asian, but I have had acne. I went to a dermatologist for about 4 years. Here's what he told me, diet, nutrition, exercises has little to do with acne, if you have the gene for acne. He said sure, proper diet, nutrition, exercises, etc., may decrease the magnitude but it was not a cure. He explained to me that it was a hormonal thing, and that one eventually out grew it. He also told me never to mash my face, (which I did regularly), to cleanse it with mild soap and water. And he also put me on an oral antibiotic called tetracycline, low dose twice daily for about to years. This did help tremendously, for it kept pus, pimples from forming, but I would still have purplish areas. He would then put dry ice on my face, to reduce scarring. The treatment worked, I have little scaring, but it did get tiresome, and as you, I would get so disgusted with it all. But hun it will fade in time, in the mean while please try not to stress over it, try and follow this little saying "God Grant Me The Courage to Change The Things That I Can. Serenity to accept the things I cannot change and Wisdom to know the difference". Thanks for the opportunity to address your question, hope this helps you in some way.

I have always had hyperpigmentation, meaning my zits left dark spots for a long time after they healed. There are products sold in pharmacys that have skin lighteners in then. Ask your or any pharmacist and they will direct you to the product. .Or if you make an appointment with an Aestaticean(sp)..they can give you a 'microdermabrasion'(tiny beads rub off dead skin) and 'skin peels'.These make the dark spots dry and flake off and the new skin grows in faster and looks fresher. These procedures smooth out your skin a bit but I hear a more serious 'skin peel',that a Doctor(Dermatologist) does under anestesia(sp) and in the hospital really smooths your skin if its pitted. If you're young I would try the skin peels. I beleive you can even buy then and do them at home for about 30 bucks.
Good luck.Ask your local pharmacist anything. Its cheaper than going to the doctor and they usually know more about meds and interactions than the Doc does.

hmm have you tried proactive it says it is really good for your acne and to fade scares good luck here is also some other medicine to take just ask a doctor about it
Isotretinoin (Roaccutane) is a powerful medicine known as an oral retinoid - which also exists in topical form (see above). It tends to be used in severe forms of acne that have proved resistant to other treatments. It works by drying up oily secretions. There are a number of side effects of this drug including dryness of the skin, aches and pains and headaches. It can also damage an unborn baby if taken by a pregnant woman. For safety reasons, isotretinoin is only prescribed by hospital specialists

It seems like you exercise quite a bit, are you washing your face enough to deal with the sweat? If you aren't, bacteria could be getting caught in the oils.
Otherwise, it really could be "growing up" hormones, considering you're still at the school-goer's age. Try some face washes (not just acne ones), and if it doesn't get better, see a dermetologist. I wouldn't worry about it, though, if it isn't -that- severe.

try using a scar cream or coco butter for the scars. that's going to make a huge difference. also check out Arbonne. They have GREAT stuff that can help better than most stuff in a store. They might be pricey on some stuff but all of their products are all natural and last a lot longer due to the fact that u only need to use a little bit. trust me it cant hurt to check them out.
