I am looking for a new career, but I don't know what. So I thought I would ask other people to try and find some sort of direction. I would like to keep the job I have (waitress) and get a second job at home. I have three children and would like to work at home.

do a career testing course at the local junior college.
there are reentry programs fro women at some campuses.
get some help making a career plan that will allow you enough time and money to support your children. and a little rest now and then.
there are also books at the library to help you decide, but the classes and the interaction is far better.

and beware most work at home schemes are just that- scams.

I am a full time wife, mommy of two really adorable kids (10 & 3 yrs), and a full time nursing student. I love nursing so far.

I'm tired most of the time but by keeping my GPA up I get several scholarships and have been able to make just as much going to college as I would if I was working a full time job. I just get the education and when I'm done I will make much more than the scholarships offer now.

I'm a cashier, but at home I am an artist and writer. Ever try your creative side? If your handy with crafts there seems to be good money in that, or handmade materials, such as mitts, scarfs......knitting for example. I'm no good with a needle but put a brush in my hand and away I go :-) Hope you find what your looking for.

I am a disable veteran, full time student, and I am self employed as a handy man. I think you should come up with an idea, and try to sell it on line. Did you hear about that lady that started making custom diaper bags in her house, and now she has a thriving business. Try something like that.
