there are very few people that agree with every issue of either party... so naturally, there are several people that have many different beliefs inside the same party... some issues are more polarizing than others though...

but I don't think anyone wants to pay a lot in taxes... but sometimes I wouldn't mind giving a little more if it would make America a better place for everyone...

Absolutely not. You have not listened enough to my show. Dems love to pay tons of taxes. Tax and spend tax and spend is all they do.

Don't tell anyone we ran up the highest domestic spending increases since LBJ. The best part is we were able to buy votes with a pittance of a tax cut. Thank God we don't have to worry about balancing budgets. Who gives a crap about a record debt. Hopefully that will be a Dem problem by the time it catches up to us.

Remember - Politics trump truth every time.

You pay more for health care now than you would under national healthcare, but you could still pay extra for better care.

As far as welfare goes, the far right has made it out to be way more than what democrats want. To the point of hysteria.

Not really, the democrats have never met a tax they didn't like.

Sure, a fiscally conservative Democrat. I would hope that your desire to keep your hard-earned money (private property) means that you are also against ever more government spending programs. Congress has an instaiable appetite for that money you want to keep. Almost like a crack addict looking for the funds to finance that next high.

What's fair?

You are going to pay a lot in taxes either way. Your decision is not how much you want to send to Uncle Sam, it is how you would you like your tax dollars to be spent.

NOPE Dems are notorious for raising taxes. The very first bill that Bill Clinton wrote into law was a retroactive tax hike. The first budget George Bush sign into law was a tax cut for all people who paid taxes. You do the math...

Yes. You would be a moderate dem. Do you believe in the liberal social agenda? If not, why don't you come into the light? We republicans would welcome you with open arms.
