Please be kind, no negative comments wanted!!
I have recently posted a few questions about the possibility of being pregnant. Over two weeks ago i had unprotected sex with my partner (we knew obviously and are fine with the consequences that could evolve). Anyway a week after i had some light bleeding, then today i did a home pregnancy test (two weeks after possible conception). My nexy period isnt due till 14th of this month. Anyway the test came back negative, but the past week i have been feeling rather off, tired, headaches, sick in stomach, and i havent felt like eating.
Was it too early to get an accurate result?

I know you can trick ur body and cause it to have symptoms which are like pregnancy. Either way im not getting excited or dissapointed, im just going to wait and see what happens. I knew it reality it may of been too early to test, but i was just sick of the unknown, lol. Only couple more weeks until my expected period,so i guess time will tell. Thanks all for your answers/responces.
life is rather unexpected at times, i believe that things happen for a reason, so if this is meant to be then it will happen, if not, i will move on.

It is probably too early to tell. However, just having the thought that you might be, especially if it's something you are excited about, can make you experience, or really notice "signs". Trust me I know. The first time I thought I was pregnant, I was 2 months late for my period, and experiencing all the signs. I was very disappointed when the doctor told me I was not pregnant. Wait a few weeks, and test again.

I found out I was pregnant way before my period. But home pregnancy test aren't really accurate because I took three and the first one said no. Just give it a couple of weeks more and then take another one if you feel that you are and it says no go to the doctor and they will do a blood test which is alot more accurate than pregnancy test

I suppose that it was a bit too early to get an accurate result. If I were you, I would've waited until the due period and then go to the doctor and see what he thinks.
Your symptoms did sound like possible signs of conception. Then again, it might just be a fever or a kind of other illness.

The female body is very odd. If we think we are pregnant we can actually trick our bodies into having pregnancy symptoms such as nausea, fatigue, sore breasts, pain in the uterus, cravings, and yes-even a late period. Have you ever heard of dogs having false pregnancies and then they later try taking care of stuffed animals? It happens all the time. Humans can do the same thing. I suggest not getting too excited or too worried about it. Time will tell, and God's Will- will be done. So don't freak out or get excited just yet, you might give yourself a false pregnancy and that could cause alot of pain. Just breathe......

The HcG levels (main pregnancy hormone) aren't high enough to be detected yet, even by a doctor's test. The earliest you can take a home pregnancy test is about three days before you expect to miss your period, even then it could be negative. I recommend that you start taking a daily multivitamin (if you haven't already) and wait about a week to retest. If its still negative and you miss your period, make an appointment with your doctor for a blood test. I its positive, make an appointment with your doctor to start prenatal care. Hope that helps. Take care.

Yeah it sounds way to early to test. The soonest I have heard of is 4 days early but I am pregnant now and I still got a negative 4 days early so I just kept testing and it wasn't obviously positive until I was 2 days late.

It depends. How long is your period? I think that it is weird that you had sex over 2 weeks ago but then your period isn't due for another 10 days? I would have to say that with the info you provided, you need to wait till a missed period to test. You probably tested to early.

It is way too early. If you got pregnant, the egg can take up to 5-12 days to implant....and 3 more days to begin producing the pregnancy hormone.
The earliest you could test would be the 9th and even then it would only be 69% accurate.

It is way to early to test. But it does sound like you are pregnant. I am one month pregnant and went through those same symptoms and I still am. I didnt get a positive test result until the day my period was suppose to start. Good Luck to you

I tell you what you should do. Just to be safe, cause home tests can be wrong, go to your family doctor and have a test done. He won't tell anyone and that way if you are no damage will be done to the baby and you can take care of yourself the right way, the 14th is a awful long time away if you are pregnant so just go to the doctor.
