JUST BE THERE FOR YOUR MOM AND HELP HER OUT WITH WHAT EVER SHE NEEDS. JUST TRY TO RELAX, READ A BOOK, TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS, PRAY, LISTEN TO SOME MUSIC. YOU'LL BE FINE.

1st - it is hard to answer this question with out a little more info. What are you nervous about? I mean there is a lot to be scared about when a new baby is coming. You can be scared about how your parents will treat u once the baby comes, if you not sure what your parents expect from you once the baby comes or if it just that you are worried that you will not be a good sister/brother.
I think the best thing you can do is be honest and have a heart to heart talk your mom or dad. Go to the one that you feel the most comfortable talking to. Explain to them everything you are feeling. If you can not talk to either of them - go to another family member and maybe they could talk to your parents for you.
Good luck!

What are you nervous about? Having a new brother or sister? Or that your Mom might go into labor when only you are with her?

If it's the first, don't worry about it. Your parents won't love you any less after the new baby comes along. Of course they'll have to devote more time to the baby than you, but that's only because a baby requires that much care, not because they care about you less.

If it's the second, talk it over with your Mom. Ask her to write down any information that you might need (which hospital she plans to go to, what her doctor's name is, who needs to be called, etc.). Also, remember that you can always call 911 if anything really unexpected happens.

You can ask mom and dad how you can help get things ready for the baby coming home. Would it help mom if you did some of the chores she usually does, like folding clothes or things like that? Could you maybe put things away for her? I find that when I get lost in doing for someone else, I lose track of my own issues.

You know what, if its something you'd like to do, maybe write mom and dad, and/or the new baby a poem or pros just telling them of the excitement or nerves you are feeling as you count down the time for their homecoming.....that would be very special and then they could keep it for the baby in the baby book.

Bet you will love having a baby in the house and now you can be the older sister and that is SOOOO special. Blessings to surround you and your precious family, they are so lucky to have you...
