it was connected on one computer doing fine then i put it to my other computer and u know how it says do not disconnect sometimes? well it is still like that and it says the current time at the top and its at full battery. on my other computer it wouldnt recognize my Ipod to update it so i was unplugging it and unplugging it and now its like that.

but as long as u install the software its supposed to work. i swtiched it back to the normal computer it was originally on its still dumb

my iPod isnt being recognized on the computer so i cant restore but it would be good if i could make it be recognized

so i put it an a different USB port then it goes good for a sec with the main menu then iTunes isnt recognizing my ipod and its saying do not disconnect

Go to the apple support website and try the 5 Rs:

Reset Retry Restart Reinstall Restore

If those don't work, there is other advice on how to get your ipod back in action.

Mine does did that once. It's mainly because you aren't supposed to switch ipods on different computers, they're supposed to be on only one computer. It's some type of security feature apple put in. So maybe it will work again if you leave it on one computer.

go to itunes and restore it to "factory settings." use itunes 7
