He probably does like you because you are one of his students. Don't read anymore than that into it, he is just doing his job and he is just a nice guy. However the bottom line is he is your teacher!!

Expressing concern for your wellness of circumstance is just good manners. If it is destined to go beyond that you will have to ask. But how? You could simply tell him exactly how things are going with you and then invite a simple reply to the same question, if he is so inclined... and it will go forward or not go forward from there...

Sometimes emotions can get all mixed up and quite a few ppl can fall for their teachers!! It's part of life!!
You may be reading too much into it as it's actually a rather bland, acceptable statement.
it doesn't mean more than it says, probably a genuine hope that your life is meaningful.

Another person who has fallen for her teacher . Just find someone your age and dont encourage your teacher . The teacher ends up losing his job and you will act all innocent and say " he took advantage of me because i am young and stupid". Stick to your age-group and dont go looking for trouble, too many people get hurt.

sounds like ur teacher is being nice in the e-mail but thats it.after all he will be aware of the teacher/pupil relationship and anything beyond that will jepodise his job.
