Okay, I'm friends with this girl I go to college with, but her nostrils are so short.. how do I explain this! Like take your index finger and your thumb and squeeze your nose. That's what her nostrils looks like, I'm scratching my head saying to myself how can she breathe? She's really beautiful, but is it ok if I just ask her? because I'm curious if she had surgery on her nose. If not, then that's a rare nose type.

It's a common nose look among people who've had nose jobs. Try not to be too curious about it, and don't ask her. She's probably pretty sensitive about her looks, particularly if she went to the extent of having surgery to alter them.

Okay, inamgine this... What if you had a really big scar on your face. Would you want someone to ask you if that was frm skin cancer surgery? It'd be kinda like that.
Just say, "Girl, you're nose is so cute! I wish mine looked like that!"
If she gives you the # for her surgeon, you'll know. If she says something about how much she hates it, well, you'll know the other half of your question, too.

i think i have what you're talking about. if i breathe in very deeply and quickly, my nostrils close entirely! i'm sure she wouldn't care if you were just like, "wow crazy nostrils" or something as long as that's not all you ever say to her and you don't bring it up more than once.

oh if it's a nose job thing, that's different. if you think she's had a nose job, definitely don't say anything.

DONT TELL HER THAT HER NOSE IS WEIRD THAT WOULD BREAK HER HEART JUST KEEP IT INSIDE AND GO ON WITH UR LIFE IF U EVER GET MAD AT HER THEN THATS THE TIME TO ASK ABOUT HER NOSE CAUSE SHE WOULD ALREADY BE MAD !!! THATS WAT I WULD DO

thats just her and her appearance......obviously she can breathe cause she is alive....i wouldnt be asking her about it may be something she has a complex about....and realistically your her friend why would this matter....
