I don't know what they are but they sure are ugly---ewwwww and they can jump high and fast!!!!
My husband says they are called humpback crickets

they appear as if some variety of spider yet I by no potential heard of a leaping spider. My husband says there is not any such subject as leaping spiders....properly......i will commence calling them cave crickets then. We see them each now and then too via the bathing room or interior the kitchen. We don' t see them each and all the time thank goodness!.

There was an outdoor "closet" tacked onto our house where we stowed the lawnmower. It was absolutely infested with them, but they were harmless so we never did anything about them. We always just called them "spider-crickets."
My friend with arachnophobia was APALLED that I let them live in that closet for almost ten years.

It could be mole crickets. They have a cricket's long legs, but they're brown and have a curved-down belly. They aren't harmful to people, but they are creepy-looking!
