they are the clear thin ones they kinda look like a night guard like chris drury wears one they do not have a strap. i want to know because i want to purchase one. EXTRA POINTS for somone who tells me where i can buy one (websites) or stores

alot of them get them custom made by their dentists
just ask your dentist about it , it will probably cost about 20-30 $

Heh, I'm not sure if there's any rules about it, but obviously lots of people ignore them if there are. It's easy enough to get around, I mean, who wants to go around checking in these guys' mouths? I'm guessing the rules are about the same in the AHL, and as for Jr, I think they're got some rules about that, and I'm guessing they're more careful about enforcing them.

There are a few kinds. Shock Doctor is good... most sporting goods stores have them.
