I don't think either one is easier. It depends on your interest and/or aptitude. My degree is in chemistry and I think it is easier than physics. I'm sure physicists think physics is easier than chemistry.

The answer is that it will depend on your teacher, your interests and your classmates. The subject material is fairly irrelevant to the vast majority of students. (Ths assumes the "class" you are asking about is a highschool or freshman college class).
As a chemist, I think that chemistry is harder since the stuff you have to learn is less intuitive. Another way to put it is that when you learn about electricity or friction in Physics, you can see it all around you but when you learn about pH or ions WHERE do you see that? Chemistry at the elementry level ( pun intended) is more abstract, physics is more down to earth.
The best way to figure it out, if you know who the teachers are, is to ask someone who has had those classes with those teachers.
There is a rule in marketing: Better a great salesman and a mediocre product than the other way around. This means that the teacher is by far and away the most important part of the equation. Unfortunately, you seem to be looking for a "easy" class, so you want a lousy teacher. Well, be careful what you wish for, you may get it! A lousy teacher MAY run an easy class, but it probably will be painfully boring. But hey, you're probably already on your way to that job as a used shoe saleman, or you wouldn't be looking for the easy classes but rather the good ones.

Personally, I find physics easier and I'm a chemistry major! For me at least, I just use common sense and life experience when solving physics problems. When you're studying projectiles, for instance, you can rely on your experience of throwing a baseball. But in chemistry, you don't intuitively know why a chemical compound will react in a certain way with another compound since you can't actually see all of the intermediate steps in the reaction taking place.

Hard to choose because both are my 2 favourite subjects. But if you are stronger in Maths, you might find Physics easier. If you have good memory, you would find Chemistry easier.

physics is more formula based. in chemistry, there seems to be a lot more memorization, but typically, chemistry becomes physics at some points. I think physics is a lot easier. Since you dont have to deal with complex naming and multiple theories. In physics, there always seems to be one answer. If you excell in mathematics, you would find physics quite simple.

chemistry is easier if you start in the lower levels. It is a lot more fun. The labs seem to take longer than the physics labs. I think chemisty makes more sense than physics. Physics makes you work a lot harder for a good grade.

That depends on your style of learning.
Chemistry is spiral : you build upon previous knowledge. If you miss a few steps, you are in serious trouble. For example, if you cannot balance equations, then mole concept will be a nightmare. The upside to this is that once you learn something, you keep using it so that post-learning dissonance is very small.
Physics is in blocks : mechanics is a separate block from say, thermal physics. You may not understand thermal physics well but then you move on to a different block and find that you do well because it is not related to thermal physics or any other block. The downside to this is that once you learn something and then move on to something new, you tend to forget what you learned since it is not used in the other blocks.

Chemistry is easier. For physics, you need math levels up to calculus and I hate math...
