Thanks! I would be staying with a host family, but I would be going to a local high school.

I went on a student exchange when I was 15 and it is something that I think everyone needs to experience. I went to Oman in the Middle East, where it was completely culturally diverse to what I'd experienced. I highly recommend it because not only do you have an awesome time, you meet new people, learn a new language (sometimes) and it opens your eyes to a different way of living which makes you more open minded.

In regards to my exchange, the first couple of days is hard, but it doesn't take long to meet new people and find new friends. Also will you be living with a host family or in a boarding school?? Both are awesome but different experiences. If you live in the boarding house, you will make a lot of friends from a variety of age groups, where as if you stay with a family, you usually only make friends with your hosts friends.

You should seriously consider it, because its an awesome experience.

My daughter did it and we had a German lady for a year.. you are going to love it with the aid of fact the rather everyone seems to be great there..I even have been there dozens of cases on organization and delight and continually had a stable time..the biggest ask your self to you would be the language..till you learn the dialect from precisely the place you're staying you will no longer have a clue what they are asserting..email me in case you desire to hearken to greater as I would desire to bypass now
