I mean we have to realise Scandanvian people, Jutes, Germans, all are all one group and same people of Germanic orgins, basically they just split up , went France (norse) Norway , Denmark Germany , all same people and who came to England, so really English people are these people, and it was these people who made UK what it is today, shame about Wales, cormwall being taken over and influenced by these Anglo-Saxons, that their hisotry is evaportated and they aint really contributed anything to life how it is, whereas Germanic people have.

The Angles and the Saxons, along with the Jutes, originated in modern-day Denmark (the Jutland peninsula), so while they were Germanic peoples, their culture more closely resembled that of the Scandinavian peoples of the time. In fact, the Old English language is closer to modern Swedish than it is to Modern English. As far as not having their own history, while they may have a relatively small shared history, the two regions have undergone some very different changes, influences, challenges, etc. since the two groups split. This question is laughable at best, and illustrative of a frightening level of ignorance at worst.
