That I am in a Human form , I know. I seem to be comfortable with other human froms around me. I dread the tigers , the lions , the dragons. But I seem to like the elphants , the cows , the dogs and the monkeys. I am comfortable with them too. I am able to relate to them.
Whenever I am low , I spend time with them all sharing my pain. equally I share with them my pleasures.
Sometimes, and many such sometimes, I find I am in deep pain . Deep sorrow.. so are my fellow beings. At those times I am not able to share my pain and the fear with these . I keep looking for a better shoulder. . The shoulders that I had were of my mother, my father , my friends. and I am familiar with that.
it was only a matter of time I drew the rest of the body , from the shoulder. I came to the familiar figure of a human being and I called the unknown God.
In some parts of the world, I . also, visualised God in the other familiar friendly form of monkeys, elephants .

Selfish or unselfish does not alter the truth. All of creation is but God expressing his vision of himself and in the end it will merge back from whence it came. "God dwells within you as you" read romans 1-19/20 All things made have been shown all there is to know of God even unto the Godhead.

God is in every thing of which human form is also one.
There is no creation without god in it. This has been scientifically proved by the fact that the atom inside the so called dead things has also active power in it.

dogs, cats, fish, zebras or any other animal do not have the ability to reason or do not possess intellectual faculties.
Thus, God (being all-knowing and all) would not opt to be something that cannot process thinking skills for simple practical matters.
After all, how could God preach His word to us if he could only bark or purr?
=)

A laborer of sorts, was out in back on the porch to the entry of my humble upper flat home. He was killing spiders. I said to him, who smelled of pot, "...you will be really surprised; if you when you die, you find out God is a spider." He got this look of steep ponders... and said..."hmm... God a spider?"
All is God and God is all. Amen.

I think anybody who thinks that God has one form underestimates God. Especially if we are talking about a physical form.

It is not selfish. The Bible states that we are made in his image.
and therefore, he is not a dog or cat...

It has been preached that we (humans) were CREATED in HIS image....I don't really consider myself looking like a fish so I'm guessing that He's not either...
