try making a paper mache (ma-shay) volcano. tell your partner to find out how to make it erupt and you make the body. If your partner doesn't do his/her part just say that it is a scale modle of a dormant volcano. After class tell your teacher it didn't erupt because your partner didn't do anything. you will get full credit and your partner will get nothing.

First of all, you should tell a teacher that this person who's failing science is not helping you do the science project that you're both supposed to do. That may sound a bit nerdy, but trust me, it should bring that lazy failer back on his/her feet in no time.
If the teacher is unwilling to help you or whatever, then you should just confront that person and try to talk them into doing their job. Again, if they neglect their duty, try find an "arguable" topic, e.g. whether or not the Bermuda Triangle is "bad" or neutral. Then, make a big poster or experiment, and do half of the work, defending and arguing your side (e.g. There is no scientific evidence that blah blah blah). Draw up an outline for the other person to do his/her own half, and give to him/her.
Then, if he/she didn't do anything on the day that you have to turn in your homework, gloat to your teacher and say, "I did what I had to do."

Do a project that shows how a battery (like an AA battery) works. Explain stuff like what "alkaline" means. Then test out several brands in a scientific way and see which lasts longer.

stab your partner.
or just... do all the work.
and um...
then when you are done tell your teacher that you did it all. there is no way you can lose.
or you could be cool and just do the project and let the kid get an easy A, and then maybe people will think you are cool

There are some really good websites that may help you:
http://www.stemnet.nf.ca/sciencefairs/
http://www.science-projects.com/
http://www.sciencemadesimple.com/
http://www.scienceproject.com/
http://school.discovery.com/sciencefaircentral/
and let ur teacher know that ur partner isn't contributing at all, because it wouldn't be fair if he got credit for doing nothing
Good luck:)
