Which is better in your opionon the in terms of the Chronicles of Narnia book or movie? How about the Series of Unfortunate Events? Harry potter? Lord of the Rings?

I believe that books leave more to the imagination; therefore, they are better. I think reading in general is better that just watching a movie because it expands your imagination, and vocabulary and it improves your reading skills. As far as are the quality of the stories better in movies or books, i believe books. Nowadays, movies cut so much out that they pay no respect to the book that inspired them.

Believe it or not many Christians are believing in Global Warming and condem those who will pollute the earth, but for different reason than perhaps those who do not believe in God. God did not place us here to destroy the Earth but to have dominion over it. God created it and we are destroying it. This actually goes in hand with the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics saying that all things tend to deacy, (Not Evolve) But we are not concerned about it actually being destryed as God will Restore it, even so..with the Verse in the Bible that I am Giving you does not Give man the right to desecrate His creation. Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Now..I don't know if Al Gore has exaggerated his film and evidence to further the cause of the left agenda or not, But I do know this. Global warming is happening and we are the cause and it must be stopped, we must stop using Fossil Fuels and have the Big Auto makers and Oil Tycoons release the technologies that can make a 400 cubic inch engine get 100 MPG . also, the internal combustion engine is obsolete and has been for over 50 years, time to develope a new engine, However , I think it already has, But the Tech is being kept away and protected by the Opec nations and Big Auto makers, it's is time to force them to release it.

Well the only one I could give an honest answer to would be the chronicles of narnia and their books....I read 3 or 4 and the movie was based off of the lion the witch and the wardrobe book...I thought it was pretty accurate. I was pretty happy. I grew up on those books and was a little afriad it would turn out to be another movie they should have just left alone. I thought they did pretty decent.

Ok quite honestly in regards to all of these movies, the books are better, in all cases, because no movie screen can compare to a persons imagination, particularly that of a small child.
And in response to charlie Q - your ability to spell might acctually improve a little if you sat down and read a few books, but you might want to start with something simple like ' see spot run', that seems a little more suited to your intelligence range.....

THe book is still the best!!!
There are some things in the book that it was not included by the producers and directors in the movie...... but nowadays people love movies rather than reding the books because it include a lot of senses and it often stick to your mind. In reading you are only using your eyes and imagination.... you are only using a single sense that i the sense of sight...... unless you read aloud all the time.... but it watching movies.... you are using your ears, and eyes... but not much of imagination because it is all presented to you..... so if you ask me which one i prefer.. i would rather read the book than watching the movie..... I love the Lord of the Rings by the way(THe Original Book)!!!!

I think that the books are always better then the movies. The books give more detail and allow you to get more of the story then the movies do
