You are so right!
Their policy is do as I say, not as I do. That way of thinking is just so basically wrong to me. When they are finally found out, they usually cry that they were abused as children, or that they were alcoholic, or that they bought meth, but did not use. I am not sympathetic, because it is pathetic. Power or too much of it sometimes gives people in high positions the idea that they are somehow detached, or above the laws that are set for the common folk.

I agree. If you are going to be a man of the cloth you had better well be one. I don't know of any religious group that escapes hypocracy tho.
