First of all take yourself off to a doctor and ask him to check you over and suggest an iron test. If iron levels a low when you have your period it can leave you feeling very flat it can leave you feeling down..Low iron levels dont affect depression very well at all. Maybe just having a check up and chatting with him/her will give you some answers.

Drink orange juice at least once a day, eat some things with chicken, beans, and something with calcium some point during the day, get enough water during the day, get to sleep by at least eleven p.m. until you must get up for work the next day.

Try taking folic acid or some Vitamin B-complex. I have found that this helps me. I have had the same symptoms and am also slightly anemic. You might want to have your blood count taken.

Even though I usually don't have much of an appetite, I try to eat meat for the protein, or spinach, or peanut butter.
Make sure you are not anaemic - check with your dr. for testing.

You might be anemic. Have you been tested? It's an easy and inexpensive test.

Otherwise just try to take it easy and eat lots of protein and little to no sugar.
