how do i gain access to the morman records of people and families? are they the best source for finding peopl?

i'm searching for my daughter and son because i lost track of them during an extended illness. i can't find the boy at all. i have several small clues to the daughter but she remarried and i'm not sure of her new name.

Contact their last know ward, talk to the bishop and seek his advise. If both are still active with in the LDS church they DO HAVE RECORDS
of every ward they have been in. All records are housed in Salt Lake City UT. so be patient, seek out the bishop and ask for his help. Good Luck to you.
