I have often been projected to win this year.. When I am projected to win I have often lost (often by not many points)...

Well....while it is a nice little tool I guess if a manager has no idea what his best projected lineup would be... other than that...it is really useless IMO. I certainly would not use it as a bible for my fantasy decisions on a weekly basis.

Alot of people complain about Yahoo Fantasy games....but in general (and considering it is free)...I find it pretty much comparable to any other sites fantasy games. I do not go by Yahoo player rankings when making my decisions each season...but for that matter...I would not use any sites rankings. I think the Yahoo fantasy "experts" weekly columns are alot of times way off base...and I think the same thing about other sites. What it comes down to is...the people behind the scenes giving all their advice...are no more fantasy knowledgeable than the average fan. Sometimes they are correct....sometimes you scratch your head with their advice.

It's really hit or miss for their projections. Normally, all Yahoo does is go off the player themself, rather than the matchup. However, they can't predict the future to see if a RB gets goal line carries stolen away of if a player gets hurt, just a part of the game.

And for the guy who says you get extra points for a correct pick for matchups, he's a complete idiot and liar. All the picking a team to win is another way to have fun in the fantasy league. Not everyone does it so awarding teams extra points by doing that is not fair. They have used the picking function the past 2 years and not once have I seen extra points get added to a teams total.

Yahoo is a joke for fantasy football(unless you are the commish and change the point value etc) You dont get points for receptions so if you face westbrook you dont have to worry too much because they dont count the points for receptions. I like www.sportsbuff.com, it is the best fantasy football period. Voted number one in salary league football.
