Women-Do women wear their fingernails longer or shorter depending on what part of the country they live in?

How long do you keep your fingernails? What part of the country do you live in? Is there a common length most women keep their nails in your part of the country?

I just clipped my acrylic tips off. I'm going natural for a while. For now, they are right at the tip, which is comfortable. I'm on east coast.

I mostly use the national mags to tell me what's in fashion - right now it's short, just past the end of the finger, and that's where mine are. HOWEVER...I've noticed the East Texas norm is long claws, for the most part. There was a girl checking groceries the other night and she could hardly hit the buttons with a pencil her nails were so long. And obviously artificial. The 'french' manicure is most common.

I live in the southeast and my fingernails are long I see women with both long and short nails but I do think that the women here in the south do wear their nails longer

I think it has more to do with your profession than where you live....I am older and work in the garden all the time, so I have acrylics put on and filled in....only way I can keep nails.
All female physicians and other medical professionals can't have long nails or polish, etc.
Business women in suits rarely have very long nails.

I live in the south and my nails are about a milimeter past the end of my finger and natural. Most people here have short and chewed on nails or over-done fake or fake-looking ones.

I live in Kentucky.
Most people hear wear thier natural nails fairly short, a bit past thier fingertips usually. However, women usually wear acrylics a bit longer.
