Honestly, even if you were not a virgin when you got together, even if you had sex with 500 guys before him (I'm not saying you did!) it's still creepy! I'm 22 now. I can't even imagine what being with a 15 year old would fulfill. Most teenagers are annoying not sexy. But, who cares now? Your marriage is fine and your older so, it's not like you are some puberty ridden teenager with an adult. Besides, maybe your husband was a late bloomer. I mean, really late both physically, mentally, socially and emotionally.

Ok, if we are to leave aside the fact that it is illegal for you two to be together, there is something seriously wrong with this picture. He is a 21 year old male. I find it very hard to believe that he's not in it for the sex or that sex is not important. Also, lets talk about priorities/hobbies/interests. I'm assuming he's either a university student or he's working. He is allowed to go into clubs go out for drinks, etc. You aren't. He's concerned about paying the bills, you're concerned about not failing your algebra test. Even if this seems like it's just petty details, there are way too many issues with this relationship and I doubt he's being honest with you. And you were not particularly honest with him when you told him that you were 18 in the beginning of this relationship. Do your parents know that you two are dating? Do your friends? If they don't, then it's only a matter of time before you two are seen together. If you truly love each other, then you'll see that this can only lead to trouble for the both of you.

yes it definently was illegal. The age of consent is different in most states, but I think the yongest is 16. And also it is diffrent depending on the age of the older adult. If they are 21and older , it is defiently more of a problem. If the cops ever found out he would have been ******

Also if you thought it was wrong you shouldn't have did it. I am glad that you guys were really in love and that you did end up staing together

It's pretty much illegal and immoral. At 15 you really have no business having a sexual relationship, and a 21 year old should know better than to start one with someone who is so young. If he really loved you, he should have waited until you were at least 17 or 18... I even asked my husband about this one, and he agreed (so there you go, a man's opinion too).

Not only was it wrong it was also illegal. I'm very glad that everything worked out in the long run. However from someone who has been married 22 years come Monday, You will probably come to a point in your relationship when you will question your decision to have sex that young and to marry him. You have no experience to compare your relationship to, and that may lead to problems later on. Good luck on being the exception to the rule.

some lads at 21 have a lower mental age ,a lot of girl 15 year old girls have a high mental age so as long as the older guy is not being deliberatley predoratory then it all evens out.But only he wiil know that, but u seem to be thinking about it though, good luck

In most states your parents could have had him arrested for statutory rape and you are very lucky that didn't happen, because you'd be visiting him in prison instead of being married to him. But, after being married for 8 years, it's time to stop thinking about it and talking about it and get on with the living!

Why are you arguing about this now? It has nothing to do with anything...unless you just want to prove something...but I wouldn't go there if I were you. He could have had to live with a felony conviction for the rest of his life...so I doubt that you would recommend this to young people...would you? But this happened yesterday and it doesn't matter now. What's happening is about today... and tomorrow. Park this thing and get out. It ain't going anywhere.

i can certianly understand why it is illegal and why most people are against it. there are, however, exceptions based on maturity levels of the people involved. i am in a similar situation myself. i was 23 when i married my 15 year old bride. everyone said that it could never work, but that was 12 years ago and it's still working.

So ummm...wow...
You lost your virginity to a guy who could have got you pregnant and dumped you. Luckily, he married you. But still, the Bible says that we are to save ourselves for the right person and to wait till we are married to have sex. You were only 15 and there could have been a better guy out there for you and you should have waited till you found him. Do you feel that you were forced to get married in any way because of this situation?
