Ttried every thing i know! (nothing!) Tried un/re install, tuneuputilities, opentechsupport. Etc... I think i need to take it in! Been quoted,$60-$100, just to look at it! Wow! Can anyone give me a realistic price on just how much it should cost? It's an Emachine T2824. Everything else works fine. I live in Milwaukee,county,Wi. I just want my music to play w/o losing all my music! Thanks for ANY help! I am on disability too, [can prove it] would certin Co's give a discount?

It depends, if your HD is bad then your screwed, however if your software is bad i suggest burning your music on a disk, and then restoring your computer to factory settings,

If you are a computer person it should only cost about $35 to fix a HD problem, but If your not it will cost $80 and up.
