I am 44 years old & retired due to disability, I had my share of partners in my younger years an to this day I don't regret 1, as a matter of fact I'd do it all over again.

Well, it was quite a few years ago in my case, as I developed a monogamous relationship some 21 years ago. But yes, I regret all the pointless encounters, the ones where I was stupid enough to believe it would last and the ones where I didn't even bother to kid myself on that score. I regret the times I was sufficiently down and out economically that I was basically "paying" for a place to sleep and enough food to get to the next day. I also regret the number of times I ended up having to do a round of penicillin, and those bottles of insecticide soap . . . I suppose some of the time I really did have fun, but the disappointment of seeing it was just a cheap night as far as the guy was concerned hurt over and over.
And I was one of the lucky ones. A gentleman rescued me.

How many's "many"? I've got a few notches on my bedpost, and I don't regret a single one of them.
There are, unfortunately, women out there who confuse sex and love and who look for love in the arms of a man. If these women fall into numerous sexual relationships without ever finding the connection they're looking for, they probably will regret it. But there are also plenty of women who are having fun in a safe, healthy way, and we have nothing to regret. Okay, well, not every partner is a ten, but you know what I mean.

Regret it....that is a very decisive statement, no room for may possibly have some regrets in some areas...also depends on the meaning meant by "Many partners" is that six ,twenty ,eighty
until that's defined who can say whats to regret or indeed should there be any regrets ...?

So you heard a well known female psychologist on TV say something? TV psychologists always have something to say, but that does not mean you have to give it any more validity than if any TV personality says it. They are all just " entertainers ".

I messed around alot as a young woman and have been faithfully married for 22 years. While I'd pass on some of them, if I had it to do again, I can think of several I regret letting get away.

I have had encounters but I was married for 20 years then after that my relationships lasted about 3to 4yrs however I have not reduced myself to sleeping around but it is hard for those of us with scruples to keep a man around if we dont "put out" but frankly if that is all he wants then I dont need him,I want him to love my mind ,and all of the supernatural stuff that us women are made of notice the "wo" lol

I'm 21 i've slept with 6 people...i dont regret it at all at the time..thats who i was and thats who i was going to be with....you know everyone makes mistakes and we all have to learn from them...but i wouldnt regret any of them because thats what made me learn different things

I think they regret if it is mindless and meaningless. If it is about the yearning of the body and not the heart pain usually follows.

Well, I can't say this from experience, but I don't necessarily believe that they regret it, only that they probably feel unloved.
Or maybe they're too insecure to stay with one person long enough to begin a serious relationship.
