How can I pull off the rocker/punk look without looking like a poser?

just about anyone can put it off, just don't go overboard. no dark dark makeup and no chains trust me. there's such thing as a preppy punk look. go for it. what to wear, black pants or denim jeans and a band tee. accessories go for maybe a cool necklace that's punk inspired and earrings. jelly bracelets are always cool too.

Since you aren't normally a punk, you will probably look like a poseur (that really is how it is spelled) no matter what you do. Just wear your jeans and t-shirt. There will be a lot of people around looking like something they are not, and you'll be glad you didn't do the same thing. A true punk can always spot them. . .

Don't go over the top. No chains, mohawks, safety pins, or fishnet clothing. Wear a pair of jeans you normally would, and a band t-shirt.

If you're female, maybe put in some temporary streaks in your hair and wear a little extra eye makeup. And don't forget some awesome shoes...Rocket Dog, Converse, and those new Keds with the patterns and stuff are your best bets.

If you're male, don't comb your hair. Wear Converse or some shoes of a similar style.

wow just be yourself and wear what you would normally, as long as it's comfortable. I go to a lot of "concerts" and I agree with some of these people, the poseurs can be spotted easily. It pretty much is all about the attitude, and if people try to give you **** for what you're wearing give them the finger or tell them off some other way. Go have fun :].

outfit #1: screen tee with gothic image and stripe dress shirt leathr mini skirt and blak legings.
outfit#2 : black tube top or cami and white romantic blouse jean jacket plaid skirt and leggings.
either way wear black paten leather pumps.
