Get an experienced financial consultant to help you set up some investments with some of it so you're collecting a percentage on the money. Either use that percentage to reinvest (so it grows every year) or for day-to-day living. Set aside a small part of it for general fun right now (like maybe a couple hundred thousand) such as trips and a high end muscle car and/or a house that you can pay off in full up front (so you don't have to worry about monthly house payments). You might also want to give some of it charities so you can claim a tax break on it when the time comes.
