Yes tofu, I do agree with you. I guess you also put it over in a nice way. But the thing is, if you really understand science and the way things are, why should you fear death? This is the point I am trying to make. Does fear of death have something to do with ignorance at all?

I understand what you say weedancer, but if you do not know God, how can you be good at science at all? You are trying to say you can be a good scientist and be blind at the same time?

What does the fear of death have to do with a good scientist or a bad scientist. The fear of death is a human instinct, man's nature or instinct for survival is to avoid death...it doesn't matter if you're a scientists, atheist, theist, or any other philosophical persuasion, as long as you're a sane human, you will fear death...

I am sure most scientist do fear death. I also think that good scientists would be the first to admit that they don't understand the way things work. Otherwise they wouldn't have jobs.

Fear of death has nothing to do with being either a scientist or bad. The answer is no. Survival, and therefore fear of death is just innate.

That's kind of silly don,t you think.
A scientist can be good at their Job and still fear death.
Especially if they don't know God.
