Don't you worry. You will NOT WANT to sleep on your back in a few weeks. That baby will pinch a nerve back there, and you will not be comfortable at all on your back. Here's a hint: get a little pillow that you can tuck under the babe when you get bigger to keep from feeling like he/she is pulling you forward...hard to explain, but you'll see.

Some persons say that a frame pillow is helping. I've continuously slept on my part so I did not must make that transition. They say sound asleep to your left hand part is excellent nonetheless discover that most commonly I get up and I'm on my correct hand part. I consider the additional alongside you get the more difficult it'll be so that you can sleep to your again and fail to remember approximately to your entrance. As your uterus grows it'll begin to position extra strain at the nerves to your again. I realize that I can not lay on my belly in any respect. I can not describe it however simply very uncomfortable if I even check out for two seconds. It's like seeking to lay on a bowling ball.

U shouldnt sleep on your back as this puts lots of pressure on your lungs and such and withholds oxygen from your baby. It will be hard to adjust but u will get used to it. Fall asleep with a pillow in between your legs and curl up on your side. If u wake up on your back automatically turn around onto your side again. U will get there..Good Luck!!

You should try not to sleep on your back. Try falling asleep on your side at night and if you wake up and realize you're on your back, just go back to sleeping on your side again. There's nothing you can really do to prevent yourself from moving in your sleep unless you wedge something behind you so you don't roll onto your back.

You will be fine. I do and did the same thing. Just look at it this way, it's better than sleeping on your stomach! (When your belly starts getting bigger, you won't be able to sleep on your back! You won't be able to breath, let alone stand all the pressure)
Good Luck to you.
If you still feel uncomfortable about it, then the next time you see your doctor or gyno, ask if they have any ideas or tips.

The weight of the baby can put pressure on your organs, as well as an important blood supply (or something like that) to the baby. So it's best to avoid sleeping on your back.

Sleeping on your back can cause problems like circulation and hemmerhoids. But don't worry, when you wake up and find yourself on your back just get back on your side. This happens to every pregnant woman. You'll get used to it. You'll hate it, but it will become routine.

Shouldn't be any thing wrong with it. I slept on my back the whole time, in a water bed. No problems what so ever.
