I don't want to use an abrasive pad that takes off the non-stick coating.

Hot soapy water,, with Dawn, it removes it .

You never want to spray a non stick surface with pam or any cooking spray, for exactly this reason.

Your best bet is to make a paste of baking soda and water and "scrub" the baking sheet with that. It's abrasive enough to take off a buildup like that, but won't damage the non-stick.

I've done this on my own baking sheets successfully and without damage.

This has happened to me. I sprayed the area with Fantastic spray, allowed it to sit about 5 minutes. Then a damp bounty paper towel and Bon-Ami scouring powder on the stain. Cafefully scrub the area until clean.

Then use Parchmont Paper on top of the baking sheet. for baking. Works better and nothing sticks and is easy to clean.

easy off, leave for 20 minutes, then wash it with warm soapy water.
