The abused do not speak for themselves--is it an invasion of privacy to advocate for them? To get for them outside, perhaps legal help when they will not do it for themselves and they're in a desperate situation?

Yes. You're helping someone. I mean if you don't and something bad happens to them, wouldn't that make you feel a bit guilty?
Besides, you might make a friend along the way.

everyone has the right to make their own decision.
if its a friend, you should just start smaking the **** out of everyone abusing them.
take up for them if you LoVe ThEm.
