s - they are very good at attracting end-users who want a customized web page to share with their friends. At the same time, they allow end-users to communicate amongst themselves. Once someone signs up, they start contacting friends and the chain just doesn't stop.

w - customizing web pages is very complex to most end-users and people just have a hard time trying to figure it out. They lack default security/privacy settings.

o - they can expand into different languages I suppose. (Maybe they already have but I haven't seen it)

t - I've seen a lot of copy cats so myspace can easily loose market share if they aren't careful.
