I've been extremely anti social lately.
I turned down my friends invitations to go out, to stay at home.
I've been kinda depressed too.
What should I do for the rest of the night?
Any ideas?

there are symptoms of depression... if they concern you then see your doctor..

for the rest of the night, why not curl up and watch a movie, or read a book, or take a bath and do some journaling...

I am going through the same thing right now. May be you just don't want to be with people. Maybe you are mad at someone? I know I was and that made me very anti-social for sometime. Why don't you watch a movie and have some pie ice cream or read a romantic book your a girl so a romantic book should make you happy I know Fantasy is my favorite you can't get fantasy away from me.

See a doctor if you feel you are seriously depressed...

But otherwise, if you just need some time alone I wouldn't worry about it. Read a book, watch TV, pick up a hobby. And the next time you have a chance to go out with friends, say yes!

exercise is a great way of getting yourself 'high' on endorphins which make you happy. try not to turn to food as a crutch to make you feel better. its a pretty short term solution. creating things is also a good feeling. we as humans naturally want to create. so get some popsicle sticks and glue. (elmers gluing your hand and then peeling it off is pretty fun) get those one beads that you put on the little spikey trays and iron. write something (describe the indescribable things you like) or draw or act like you can draw. get inspired.

i believe it would be best for you to talk to any friends you can trust, tell them what is going on. Talking about stuff helps. You dont have to feel presured to got out with your friends if you dont want to. Depression does happpen in phases, so most likely this will go away. But for now just dont stress yourself out.
