my toshiba laptop computer says the NTLDR is missing press any key to restart i do not have a disk drive and its the first thing that pops up on my computer and it will not let me do anything else please please help me

something in the boot programming is messed up, i suggest you take it to some tech place and have it looked at

There are ways to put the boot files back on that hard drive w/o doing a complete wipe/ reload. A good computer person will know now to do that, or you can look up NTLDR via a search engine.

If you're running XP, then you're gonna need your Windows CD to boot it into recovery mode.

You don't even have a CD drive or floppy. You need a external cd drive. To repair or re-install your OS installation. From your OS cd. If not you will not be able to repair or install anything without a cd drive...Thanks
