How many songs does a 2G apple IPod hold?

Ipod says approx 500 songs. It is based on aveerage song time. I find mine usually doesnt make more than 450 myself.

Ha ha, i would have to say around 500 songs also, a 1 GB player would only hold 250 so mulltiply that by to and you got yourself 500. But that is based on a 3 MB song files. Hope that helped!
