God no. It isn't even Thanksgiving yet. I hate the commercialism of Christmas. All the commercials and all the stuff in the stores. All the forced joviality. Ugh. I am not a bah humbug, but the real meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our savior. Christmas is a very depressing time of the year for me and it's going to be even moreso this year because my brother passed away this year, so it will be our first Christmas without him.

I refuse to even BEGIN holiday shopping until December starts - I don't like the fact that so many stores start having their Xmas sales even before Thanksgiving. It's just wrong, and ruins the whole idea of the holiday - it's no longer about family, caring, and taking care of those less fortunate - it's a media scam, it's a farce, and nothing at all like it used to be.

Gosh no, but I need to. Every year, I tell myself, that i'm going to shop early and I never do, no matter what, I always end up being a last minute Christmas shopper, it's all good though.

Yes. Pretty much finished. I should have everything done by the end of November. I don't want to be anywhere near shopping centres in the month of December.

I finished last September. I just need to get the gifts wrapped. I like to take my time & do it up really pretty. I got some great gifts this year. Also wrote Christmas cards to the U.S. military to thank them for all their hard work and to wish them well and come home safely.

Nope...I usually start right after Thanksgiving. I only have one son and he's easy to shop for and some family. I'm usually finishing up at the very last minute though :)
