x-1/4-x-2/6=2/3
-1/4-2/6=2/3
not an equation. There is no value of x that will make this true.

Multiply both sides by 12 to get rid of the fractions:
12x-3-12x-4=8
0x-7=8
0=15
No solution

Check:
0-3-0-4=8
-7≠8

Are the dashes supposed to be minuses???
Because if they are....

x-1/4-x-2/6=2/3
the x's cancel
-1/4-2/6=2/3
-7/12=2/3

NO SOLUTION
